Jasmine Orozco
Film director, Photographer

Jasmine Orozco is a director and photographer born and raised in Mykonos, Greece. With Greek, Mexican, and Danish roots, she was raised in a family of artists, shaping her passion for storytelling. Her work is rooted in slow living & life’s simple joys, inviting viewers to pause and reconnect with themselves.
After studying Film Production at Cambridge School of Art, she lived between the U.K. and Denmark, managing Christiania Art Gallery in Copenhagen. There, she immersed herself in the hippie community’s creative spirit, later directing A Day in Christiania, which screened at festivals in Italy and Denmark. For the past six years, she has worked as a freelance filmmaker, capturing cultural documentaries and music videos. Expanding her artistic practice, she also explores audiovisual installation, ceramic sculpture, poetry, and music. She is currently directing a series of short documentaries on Greece’s unique craftspeople, drawing inspiration from folk culture and human connection. Based between Athens and Mykonos, she travels whenever possible, always seeking new perspectives.
